    Parent workshops

Our parent workshops are designed to give you the tools and confidence to support your child’s learning at home. These interactive sessions focus on practical strategies, effective methods, and simple activities you can use to strengthen your child’s progress outside of lessons. Workshops also provide a supportive space for parents to ask questions, share experiences, and build skills to help their children thrive.

How long are the sessions?

Each session lasts 55 minutes and is designed to follow the National Curriculum, helping your child build knowledge and confidence across all key topics for their year group.

How are the lessons delivered?

Lessons take place online via Zoom using an interactive whiteboard. I share my screen to teach and model methods step by step. Once a lesson is booked, you’ll receive a session link by email.

What will my child need for the session?

Your child will need a pencil, notebook, and a whiteboard with a pen to take part.

What will the lesson involve?

Each session focuses on modelling, practice, and application, supporting children to develop fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Children are encouraged to ask questions, share their methods, and take part in discussions, making lessons interactive and engaging. This structured approach ensures learning is continuous, targeted, and effective—building both skills and confidence week by week.

Will I receive feedback about my child after the session?

Yes. After every lesson, parents receive an email with feedback on how their child worked, strengths shown, and areas for support.

Will my child receive home learning?

Yes. After each session, parents receive an email containing home learning tasks to reinforce progress. At the start of the next lesson, we review and mark this together, addressing any misconceptions before moving on to the next objective.
